I'd love to be wearing this look while hanging around Vancouver this weekend. It would be perfect for going for coffee at Beaucoup, making a growler-fillling trip to 33 Acres Brewing, and having the best ice cream at Earnest Ice Cream.
I have posted about Wolverine 1000 Mile by Samantha Pleet boots a few times before, but they are really worthy of their own post. I own the three pairs here- the Arc boot in taupe and black and the Bonny in dark tan. The taller dark tan ones were my first pair, which I got a year ago. They wore in so perfectly that I added the taupe ones this summer, and obviouisly had no choice but to get the black ones this fall. They're ahead of the pack in their quality, comfort, construction and styling, and are the right price for such versatile classics. Trust me guys, these boots are the very best!
As a devout J.Crew catalogue reader for years, I can say with certainty that this year's November issue is one of their best. Cotswolds is the perfect backdrop for the shoot, reminiscent of classic J.Crew catalogues of the past. They manage to create looks that are ideally balanced between artfulness and realism, while showcasing the incredible individual pieces (patricularly this varsity sweater jacket, this marled sweater, and this funnelneck coat). WOW J.Crew. Wow.
I can't stop listening to HAIM and can't get over how cool Danielle Haim is. I love her signature white tees, leather and hats, and how she makes that long middle-parted hair look better than anyone. Also, she told Teen Vogue: "the Canadian tuxedo is kind of my vibe," proving that she really is a girl after my own heart.
